In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide education to members of the community who are currently pregnant or who have already delivered along with their infants or children.

As a Family Health Educator you need to know how to:

• Promote mission, vision and values of SCL Health


• Actively fulfill Best in the Nation goals


• Develop updated curriculum in collaboration with manager as needed


• Present content to class participants


• Utilize appropriate audio/visual equipment for classes


• Track attendance and administrative documents

Your experience.

We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:

• High School Diploma or equivalent


• Appropriate licensure or certification for course content such as Registered Nurse, Lamaze International, ICEA, Lactation Educator, BLS Instructor, IDEA, ACE, and/or MSW

Preferred:

• College Degree


• At least one (1) year of experience teaching or working with specific populations per course content such as newborn nursing, breastfeeding mothers, teens, children, and/or expectant mothers
