Committed to Advancing Excellence and Equity in Education, the Graduate School of Education (GSE) at Rutgers University-New Brunswick seeks two outstanding faculty: 1) Tenured Associate Professor and 2) Non-Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Practice to join the school and Rutgers program faculty in the CACREP Accredited School Counseling Program.

The Program in School Counseling is housed in the Department of Educational Psychology at the Graduate School of Education at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. The CACREP Accredited Program in School Counseling prepares school counseling professionals who are culturally responsive to the diverse needs of youth in grades Pre-K through 12, their families, and the schools that they attend.

Central Responsibilities of Non-Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Practice Position: The successful candidate will assume an active role in the CACREP Accredited School Counseling program. Required qualifications will include a strong record of teaching, mentoring and advising of graduate students. Responsibilities include teaching approximately 18 credits per academic year, graduate student advisement, programmatic administrative duties, and service. The curriculum includes core content and specialty coursework in the school counseling discipline, and clinical instruction (school counseling practicum and internship).
