The Waterford School seeks a full-time Physical Education teacher who will teach in our middle and upper school physical education courses. Our Physical Education classes emphasize development within personal health, sports-related skills, movement patterns, games, and fitness activities. Our PE faculty often coach our extracurricular sports teams as well; candidates with an interest or background in coaching lacrosse, basketball, cross country, and other sports are highly encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate would hold a degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or Exercise Science, or a related discipline.
The successful candidate will be able to develop a healthy rapport with Middle and Upper School students, work collaboratively with colleagues in the department, and embrace Waterford School’s mission, vision, and values in curriculum, teaching, and membership in the community.
