Position Summary
Church Farm School is seeking a part time LPN to provide essential health services to students, supporting their well-being and educational success. The position will be M-F, 7a to 12p. The position is currently temporary for the remainder of the school year.
Position Responsibilities
Provide nursing care and first aid to high school students in an all-boys boarding school environment according to physician-prescribed treatment orders.
Maintain student immunization and other medical records.
Confer with students, parents and teachers regarding medical treatment.
Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Conduct health assessments and maintain accurate health records via EMR system.
Monitor and manage student health plans.
Assist Head Nurse with scheduling medical appointments and follow-up care.
Assist Head Nurse with insurance or other paperwork requirements.
Follow and adhere to the highest standards of confidentiality, privacy rules and regulations.
Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements
Current LPN license valid in Pennsylvania.
Current CPR certification (AHA or Red Cross).
Minimum 3 years LPN experience.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience working with adolescents preferred.
Experience with EMR systems preferred.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Strong emotional intelligence and ability to exercise sound judgement.

Manual dexterity, coordination and skillful use of hands when working with patients and equipment
Visual acuity with the ability to distinguish color.
Ability to physically perform necessary documentation electronically and in writing.
