To make an impact as a diabetes health educator for UF Health Shands, you will:
- Deliver outlined curriculum topics for the Diabetes Self-Management Education Program.
- Ensure overall curriculum quality for individual and group outpatient settings.
- Provide diabetes education in both outpatient and inpatient settings as needed.
- Support and promote diabetes awareness through participation in community outreach events.
To achieve excellence in this full-time role, we’re looking for candidates with a bachelor’s degree, plus:
- Must be a graduate of an approved health education (or similar) program.
- CHES certification is required.
- Preferably experienced in diabetes management with CDCES certification or eligibility.
