LREI (Little Red School House & Elisabeth Irwin High School) is seeking to hire a Parental Leave Replacement School Counselor for the 2023-2024 school year, beginning August 28, 2023. The position will be full-time from August 28, 2023, through December 22, 2023, and part-time from January 8, 2024, through June 14, 2024.

Overview of the position / Primary responsibilities include:
providing individual counseling, group counseling, and short-term crisis management.
building and implementing a curriculum focused on social-emotional learning, life skills, and mental health and wellness.
consulting with teachers and school leadership in support of student mental health and well-being.
parent guidance and collaboration with outside treatment providers.
participating in the wellness teams that meet weekly.
partnering with two school psychologists, a school counselor, and a team of interns to care for all students.
Successful Candidates will have:
MA, MEd, or MS in School Counseling.
Experience creating social emotional lessons and teaching classes.
An enthusiastic and strong work ethic, a team player, and self-starter.
Strong interpersonal and clinical skills.
Salary Range: $45,000-$75,000
