This is a full-time, nine-month tenure-track Assistant Professor (preferred) (or Associated Professor considered) appointment in the Colorado School of Public Health at the University of Northern Colorado (UNC), within the College of Natural and Health Sciences. The successful candidate will teach graduate courses in the Master of Public Health program, maintain an active research portfolio, and engage in university, Colorado School of Public Health, and professional service activities. The Colorado School of Public Healthat UNC is a partner in the nationally accredited collaborative Colorado School of Public Health which incorporates three partner campuses: UNC, Colorado State University, and the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.
An earned doctoral degree (PhD, DrPH, ScD, EdD, conferred by May 31, 2022) in Public Health, Health Education/Promotion or a closely related field, with university teaching and research expertise in Public Health or a related field.
Evidence of effective university graduate-level teaching using a variety of methods, including online instruction, in the following topics: biostatistics, research methods and evaluation, foundations of public health, program planning and evaluation, rural health, and environmental health. Evidence of public health-focused research and experience with public health-related community outreach and engagement. Experience and/or passion for working with diverse and first-generation graduate students. CHES/MCHES and/or CPH certification or eligibility desirable.
