Our PE teacher and coach is responsible for creating and teaching classes, primarily at the Lower and Middle School levels, to a diverse group of students who are eager to learn. We are looking for a strong coach who is experienced and has the capacity to lead multiple Middle School athletic teams.
Teaching physical education classes, primarily in the Lower School and Middle Schools.
Serving as a Middle School coach in all three seasons.
Working cooperatively with other physical education teachers in planning and implementing a comprehensive physical education program.
Establishing and maintaining standards of excellence for supervision and student engagement.
Collaborating with classroom teachers and administration as needed regarding social, emotional, and physical development of students.
Ensuring that the curriculum and lessons are designed to meet the needs of multiple levels of skill and a wide range of learners.
Flexibility working in a wide variety of settings and shared facilities.

An undergraduate degree in Physical Education, Exercise Science and/or Health is preferred. Physical education teaching experience is essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with faculty team members are of paramount importance.
Excellent communication and technology skills.
CPR certification and first aid training are required.
