The Peck School, a coed, K-8, independent school in Morristown, NJ, seeks an inspiring, enthusiastic, engaging, and dedicated Physical Education Teacher and Coach for the 2021-22 academic year. The job includes coordination of a health and wellness program, teaching physical education, and coaching. Specific experience with field hockey and girls’ lacrosse is a must. Interest and experience in outdoor education is also a benefit. As part of the Athletics department, this individual will continue the implementation of Peck’s character education program while teaching skills, drills, and strategies specific to field hockey and girls’ lacrosse. Experience as a coach or as an athlete in field hockey and girls’ lacrosse is required. Candidates will have an opportunity to shape and build a comprehensive K-8 health and wellness program, thus background in health and wellness is a must. The Peck School is committed to IEJ (Inclusion, Equity, and Justice) training and education. Experience with IEJ training or education is a plus.
