The School Health Institute for Education and Leadership Development (SHIELD) is one of three public health workforce training centers located in the Lifelong Learning center at the Boston University School of Public Health. SHIELD is seeking a Nurse Educator to work with other training center staff to plan, develop, manage, deliver, and evaluate trainings on school health issues and for a school nurse audience. In this role, the Nurse Educator will ensure the continuing nurse education (CNE) planning process meets ANCC accreditation requirements and will participate in the strategic development of our school health training catalog and curriculum.
RN MSN, MPH, MHPE or equivalent School Nurse experience with MA school nurse licensure preferred.
NCSN a plus Experience designing, analyzing, delivering, and properly documenting course content according to nursing practice standards and ANCC requirements.
Certified or qualified for Certification as Nurse Educator Experience using online learning management systems (e.g., Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas) a plus.
