Watershed School is seeking a part-time Counselor / Social-Emotional Learning Developer to provide expertise and support in promoting social-emotional health as a community, as well as support to individual students. Watershed is an intentionally small community of 100 students.
This is a 40% position of approximately 16 hours/week during the school year; ~10 hours in person and 6 hours remote/on call. The position follows a teaching calendar and receives all school holidays.
Experience working with teens and families.
Experience in a school is preferred.
LCP, LCSW, or other equivalent advanced degree or certification
Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional learning.
Provide social-emotional resources and tools to advisors to support them in working with advisees.
Counseling sessions with students as needed.
Help develop social-emotional curriculum for advisory and for community time.
Serve as a point of contact for outside therapists working with Watershed students.
Serve as an in-house expert on mental health and social-emotional support with the administrative team.
Conduct training for Watershed families to support social-emotional learning school-wide.
