The Health Educator will lead the development of evidence informed campus-wide student well-being strategies around healthy intimacy/relationship promotion, bystander intervention, and sexual assault and other power-based personal violence prevention, using a comprehensive, public health approach. The Health Educator addresses challenges and change collaboratively and creatively through supporting students, conducting campus needs assessments, building positive partnerships, implementing innovative initiatives, and evaluating impact and reach. The position helps support the mission of Gonzaga University and the Office of Health Promotion by fostering a campus culture of well-being.
Master's degree in Public Health, Health Promotion/Education, Higher Education Administration, or other related field
Two years of related work experience -Ability to critically review well-being related professional literature and organizational frameworks relevant to college students and assess their applicability and utility for effectiveness on campus. -Strong interpersonal, communication, and public relations skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with multiple audiences.
