The Mid-Michigan District Health Department is hiring a Director for its Community Health Education Division. This senior level position is an integral member of the leadership team and is responsible for leading the Community Health Division. These responsibilities include strategic planning, performance management, policy development, and personnel leadership including supervising nurses and mid-level providers, responding to public health emergencies and representing the Department with the public and community partners. The candidate must have five years of related experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and a current state of Michigan Registered Nurse license. A Master’s degree in public or community health is strongly preferred. The Department—which is PHAB accredited—serves a beautiful three county rural area in the central part of the state.
