The Division of Student Life at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville invites applications for the Sexual Violence Prevention Coordinator position for the Center for Health Education & Wellness (CHEW). This is an exempt, 12-month, full-time, non-tenure track staff position.

The Position: The Division of Student Life at the University of Tennessee invites applications for a Sexual Violence Prevention (SVP Coordinator) Coordinator in Center for Health Education & Wellness. This position reports to the Associate Director of the Center and will serve as a leader in sexual assault prevention for the University of Tennessee. The Sexual Violence Prevention Coordinator will work to develop, implement, and present curriculum that addresses sexual violence: consent, sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking.
Coordinate, develop, implement, and evaluate all group-level programming on sexual violence including: Volunteers Speak UP! multi-series, Volunteers Speak UP!: Greek, Volunteers Speak UP!: Engaging Men, VOLS 2 VOLS: Greek, and VOLS 2 VOLS: Engaging Men
Create partnerships with the following departments/offices: Office of Title IX, Student Counseling Center, Sorority & Fraternity Life, Student Health Center, Dean of Students Office, Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards, Center for Student Engagement, University Housing, Office of Disability Services, University of Tennessee Police Department, and UT Athletics
Create partnerships with academic administrators from different colleges and departments to promote the Volunteers Speak UP! and VOLS 2 VOLS initiatives
Oversee the administration of an online educational program to be completed by all incoming first-year students
Develop operational plans and services to address student concerns and needs through programming, outreach and prevention
Coordinate and advise the Student Advisory Board
Oversee the content and design of multiple social media outlets and the Center's website as it relates to sexual violence prevention
Demonstrate research and best practices across the field of health education
Coordinate, organize, and maintain all records associated with sexual violence programs, trainings and initiatives
Travel as required for training and professional development opportunities
