Compass High School is seeking a full-time or part-time Psychotherapist to join our faculty in the immediate future. Compass specializes in the education of students with learning differences. It is truly a unique and rewarding place for professionals to work with students with special needs. Students are highly motivated with few behavior problems. Professionals are able to devote themselves to treatment and education rather than paperwork. Compass is a small school with a high level of collaboration and a treatment team approach. The successful candidate will be a licensed psychologist, MFT or LCSW, or be in the process of obtaining licensure. Clinical supervision is available on site, if applicable. The successful candidate will co-teach a social skills class, provide individual and group therapy and drop-ins, and collaborate with faculty to develop behavioral support plans as needed. We are looking for a clinician who is creative, structured, and collaborative. This position is ideal for someone who has other part-time work (e.g. a private practice) but wants to work collaboratively in a school setting as well. Alternatively, we are interested in clinicians who are seeking full-time employment.
