Providence is calling a Rehab/Activity/Personal Care Aide(Adult Day Health, Days, Supplemental - 0.0 FTE) to Providence Adult Day Health in Spokane,Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Assist in the treatment of patients under the direct supervision of a licensed physical, occupational, or speech therapist.
Maintain readiness of equipment and treatment areas.
Obtain signatures, enter charges, coordinate schedules and complete paperwork.
Assist with personal care duties.
Lead activity groups and restorative therapy groups.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School diploma or equivalent
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Experience in an aide capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related medical field
Physical Therapy student, Emergency Medical Tech (EMT) or current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Experience working with the elderly who have Alzheimer's or Dementia
About the hospital you will serve.
Providence Adult Day Health (PADH) is the only day health program in the Spokane area. PADH has been serving the Spokane County for over 35 years. PADH provides many services including skill nursing, restorative therapy, socialization, case management, psycho-social screening, health education, caregivers support, cognitive stimulation and recreational activities. The facility is located in the north side of Spokane but serves the entire county. PADH serves adults (18 or older) with challenging physical or mental condition including dementia, stroke, traumatic brain injury, diabetes, multiple sclerosis, ALS, physical injuries or the frailties associated with aging. PADH can serve up to 60 clients a day, five days a week.
