University Behavioral Center, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc. Our mental health facility provides safe and effective inpatient treatment to assist individuals in leading more productive and fulfilling lives. The facility is located on a beautiful 14-acre campus in Orlando, Florida, and includes 112 licensed beds. Position Summary: Provides nursing services to individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders. Engages in clinical nursing assessment and problem identification, crisis intervention, case management, and individual, family and group therapy. Range of clinical nursing practice includes personal care services, monitoring and reporting findings, medication administration and monitoring, client teaching and health education, emergency intervention, and other nursing services within professional scope of practice. Coordinates medical care and intervention with program staff and psychiatrist Key Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for nursing care based on the nursing process and in compliance with facility policies and procedures.
